Lesa is a Lead Teacher in the Primary 1 classroom at Suzuki’s Northside campus. Lesa has been teaching 3-6 year olds for more than 20 years.
Lesa was attracted to the Suzuki School because of the collaborative teaching team model. She also believes the mixed age groups in the Montessori setting is where true learning takes place. She loves being able to teach children something new and exciting every day.
Lesa is an avid record collector and an art enthusiast. She has two grown children: a daughter, Emily and a son, Zach, and two step-children, Lauren and Michael. She loves dogs, and has a beautiful rescued Pit Bull named Ella.
Lesa graduated from Middle Tennessee State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. She also received a CDA from Pensacola State University. She holds the Early Childhood credential from the American Montessori Society.
