Shirley is a Montessori Teacher in the Level 2 classroom at Suzuki’s Northside campus. She joined Suzuki in 2005. Prior to coming to Suzuki, Shirley worked with developmentally - challenged children and adults in New York.
What Shirley loves most about Suzuki is that honoring each child is one of the most important attributes of the school. She believes each child learns at their own pace, and is thankful to work in an environment that supports this philosophy.
In her free time, Shirley enjoys designing window treatments, painting, reading, and spending time with her husband and two sons.
Shirley earned an Associate’s degree in Education from Shorter College, and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Kaplan University. She also holds the Infant/Toddler Montessori Credential from the American Montessori Society.
