Sheri Dunham is a member of the Pre Primary I classroom faculty at the Ponce City Market Campus. She joined the Suzuki School faculty at the start of the 2015 summer session. Ms. Dunham spent many years in the business world prior to her work with children. Several years ago, she was helping out in a church nursery on Sundays, and found her passion. She took the plunge and left the corporate world, first working for Bright Horizons, and then opening her own, in home child care business for 4 years.
She has enjoyed the transition in the Montessori environment, and does not find working with young children to be work! She loves to nurture and teach young children.
Ms. Sheri is originally from Pennsylvania but has been in Atlanta for 2 decades. She enjoys reading in her spare time, as well as journaling and writing. She enjoys listening to music and in particular loves jazz.
Sheri has an Associates as a Medical Assistant and a diploma in Early Childhood Education. She also has a Technical College Credential in Early Childhood. She is currently in pursuit of an Infant-Toddler Montessori certification at the Montessori Teacher Education Institute through the American Montessori Society.
