Sarah has been an Associate Teacher in the Level Two classroom at the Buckhead Suzuki Campus since joining us at the beginning of 2018. Before working at the Buckhead Campus, she spent some time at the Ponce City Market Campus. Before joining Suzuki, Sarah had the pleasure of teaching in elementary schools in Atlanta, Hoover (Alabama), and in Ghana.

Sarah thoroughly enjoys watching infants grow more and more confident and independent in the Montessori classroom.  What she loves about Montessori is the grace and courtesy lessons is where children learn and grow respectfully  and peacefully in a harmonious environment.  It is amazing to her that they can actually start learning these lessons in Level 2!

In her spare time, Sarah likes to read, and she also thoroughly enjoys her walks with her husband and her dog, Nora.  Sarah hopes to get to use her Doula training in the years to come.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education from Birmingham-Southern College,  and a Masters of Art in Elementary Education from University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has taught first, second and fifth grades prior to following her long time tug at her heart to work with preschoolers. Sarah is currently attending the Montessori Teacher Education Institute to become a certified Infant-Toddler Montessori teacher.
