Monique Scroggins
PrePrimary III

Associate Teacher

Monique Scroggins is an Associate Teacher in the Pre-Primary 3 classroom at the Ponce City Market campus, and has been with us since February, 2016.  Previous to joining the Suzuki School, she interned in various positions with the Methodist Church, working both with their Children’s Home and annual conference.

Monique believes she has a true calling to work with children.  She truly enjoys working with very young children because of their rapid growth and development, and because she has seen the power of Montessori versus the traditional system of teaching young preschool children.  After graduating from seminary school, Monique wanted to work in a Montessori School and was referred to The Suzuki School by a substitute.  When interviewing at The Suzuki School she was intrigued with the young children and how they thrived in the classroom, and was hooked!

In her spare time Monique enjoys working out, exploring Atlanta with her friends, and reading a wide variety of books.

Monique holds a BA in Psychology from Kentucky State University, and a Masters in Divinity from the Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, GA.  Monique hopes to soon become an ordained Methodist Minister and to become a deacon in a church.
