Megan is a Lead Teacher in the Primary 1 classroom at Suzuki’s Northside campus. She joined the Suzuki School in the summer of 2012. Prior to joining Suzuki, she worked as a Kindergarten and First Grade teacher at the Hebrew Academy.
What Megan loves most about working at Suzuki is having the opportunity to work in an environment that fosters the growth and learning of each child’s unique abilities. She is passionate about educating young children and has found the Montessori method of education to be an incredible way to help each child become not only cognitively prepared for the next stage of their development, but socially and emotionally as well.
In her spare time, Megan enjoys creating art, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Jon and her lab-retriever mix, Rory.
Megan graduated with Honors from Florida State University in 2011 and hold a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Early Childhood Education. In addition, she holds the Early Childhood credential from the Pan American Montessori Society. Megan has also completed the Early Childhood credential with the American Montessori Society.
