Autumn Fitzgerald
PrePrimary III

Montessori Teacher

Autumn Fitzgerald is a Montessori Teacher with the Pre-Primary III classroom faculty at the Ponce City Market location. Autumn is a calm, patient, loving teacher for whom the Montessori and Suzuki philosophies come naturally to. Before embarking on her journey as an educator, Autumn previously worked as a Librarian for several years.

Autumn has been a member of the Suzuki School faculty since 2012 and has worked at both the Buckhead and Ponce City Market campuses. As she has come to a deeper understand of the Montessori Method, she has found that she loves how natural this way of learning is for the children. The children get to choose what they want to learn as they are presented with developmentally appropriate lessons, and therefore they are always enthusiastic about learning! The teachers are taught to follow the child and catch their interest at exactly the right moment. She has a passion for learning and has gained a lot of knowledge about human nature by observing the children in her classroom and watching as they tirelessly explore and discover things in their world and begin to piece information together.

Ms. Autumn is originally from Atlanta, but spent some time living in Nashville, Tennessee. She loves cycling and rides her bike to and from work every day. She also enjoys spending time outside of work doing arts and crafts.

Autumn studied Education at Welsh College for three years and is a Certified Infant-Toddler Montessori Teacher with the American Montessori Society.
