Ashton Fearrington is an Associate Faculty Member in the PrePrimary One classroom at the Buckhead Campus since the summer of 2016. Previously, Ashton worked in retail and at customer service call centers. In addition, Ashton was exposed to Montessori when working as an assistant in a small Montessori School.
Ashton is drawn to Montessori because she frequently sees “a ha” moments that children experience and that she sees that Montessori provides many more opportunities for children to explore their world. She pursued a career at the Suzuki School because she wanted to be a part of a Montessori School and she felt that the Suzuki School provided wonderful learning opportunities for the children, and the faculty!
In her spare time, Ashton keeps very busy with crafting projects. In particular, she enjoys making natural products such as laundry detergent, and cooking anything that is sweet!
Ashton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Family Development and Child Relations from North Carolina Central University. During college she had the opportunity to work in the child development center. Ashton is currently attending training to become a certified Infant-Toddler Montessori Teacher.
